The ultimate goal is Nirvana, where this cycle ends and the mind achieves ultimate peace and liberation.

Many Indigenous cultures around the world believe that everything has a spirit. Upon death, the human spirit is often believed to return to nature, join the ancestors in a spiritual realm, or blend back into the earth and the sky to help sustain the living world.
